Pre-application consultation held for the proposed Foel Fach Wind Farm

Between 15 December 2025 and 9 February 2026 we undertook a statutory pre-application consultation on our draft plans for the proposed Foel Fach Wind Farm, a new wind farm on land to the north-east of Frongoch, near Bala.

During the consultation we invited feedback on our full draft planning application and held three public consultation events in Cwmtirmynach, Y Bala and Sarnau.

We are currently reviewing all feedback prior to submitting our planning application to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW).
